Role in the project
On the basis of their several years experience on
the use of PIV systems in fluid-mechanics, the Department of Mechanics
and Aeronautics of the University of Rome will develop, in connection
with the Department of Engineering for the Territory of the University
of Cagliari, advanced solutions for PIV image acquisition and analysis
in the biomedical environment. Special emphasis on the flow field
close to heart valves will be paid.
Moreover, the Department of Mechanics and Aeronautics
of the University of Rome contributes to the achievement of the
following tasks:
definition of system and testing requirements
design and validation of Graphical User Interface (GUI) architecture
system integration
system validation and testing |
