Numerical Simulation

The aim of this section is to show the progress status of tasks which are scheduled to be carried out during the development phase of the project. So far, the following activities have been completed:

Preliminary simulations on 2D valve geometry: preliminary simulations have been carried out in order to perform fast sensitivity analysis. The heart valve test case is expected to be the most critical aspect because of fluid-leaflet interaction (leaflet motion driven by fluid pressure acting on it).
